Mexico Day Four

This is a wonderful mother that has five children. This is her youngest, Juan Hermando, and I absolutely fell in love with her and her children. We got to pray for her baby as he has been sick and in and out of the hospital. I especially fell in love with her 11 year old daughter.

We put on a program in the morning that included music and a puppet show and some talking. We also gave out more hats and blankets that some wonderful church ladies made and we gave out beans and rice. The bigger kids finished up their coloring contest and the winners were brother and sister.

In the evening we had a service that included a short version of the puppet show and a message. Ed and I also gave our testimonies! I had no idea that we were going to do that. We didn't plan on it, but we were asked to do it and we are always happy to share what God has done in our lives. After the service a woman came over and wanted to talk to me, she told me her story and we prayed together. My heart was just broken for her. She was crying and I could feel her pain.

We finished off the night with a hot dog feed and just playing with all the kids and trying to talk to them and their parents. It is just a joy to be here with these great people.
